4. Why is this school a public charter school instead of a private school?

The founding board members of Constellation Charter School of Gainesville firmly 

believe that all children, regardless of household income, should have access to options for an educational experience that best supports their learning style and development. Charter schools provide students an alternative to traditional public schools without imposing the financial burden on caregivers that often accompany similar offerings at private schools.
